Carey Lowell (born April 15, 1970) is an American actor from the United States. Her first job was modeling for fashion houses of the past, such as Ralph Lauren or Calvin Klein. Her acting debut came with the film 'Dangerously Close' (1986). Then she appeared in the movie "Club Paradise," the same year. The actress also starred on the set of 1989's James Bond movie, 'Licence To Kill'. Later, she reprised her role in the game video '007 Legends.' However, she is most famous for her role in TV, especially for the character 'Jamie Ross' on her role on the American TV drama 'Law and Order. The show included her in an main and part as a guest. Disillusioned by the media, in the early 2000s she made the decision to attend New York University and study documentary filmmaking. In 2016, her divorce proceedings with Richard Gere were finally resolved after three years of separation. Lowell has avoided controversy ever since.
