Since she was a child, she grew up around TV show hosts including her sister Karla Martinez (Host of Univision's Despierta America! In addition to Andrew Martinez, her father. is the vice president for Safety, Security, and Business Resiliency for Southern California Edison (SCE) One of the biggest electric utilities in the United States. Andrew Martinez serves as vice President, Safety, Security and Resiliency at Southern California Edison. SCE is among the largest electric utility companies. SCE is responsible for his operations, policies and programs of the company. guidelines that emphasize safety and security of its employees. Martinez provides safety managers throughout all areas of the company mentoring, high-quality programs, and assistance to assist them in reaching the goals for safety of their respective work groups. Martinez was the director, Safety Training and Compliance at SCE prior to his appointment in this position. Prior to that he served as the director for Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services at SCE. In the thirty years that he was at SCE, Martinez served in various leadership roles in programs focused on improving efficiency and remedial actions. This included roles at San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station SONGS where he was responsible for the security of both employees and the public.
