Anna Heche and Anne Lockhart
Anne Celeste Heche was an American actor who is known for her roles in various types of film, television and the theater. She received many awards, among them her Daytime Emmy Award as well as the National Board of Review Award. Anne Celeste Heche (19 May 1969 - August 11, 2022) was the American actress. Between 1987 and 1991, she received fame for her performance as Victoria Hudson's sister Marley Love. This led to two Soap Opera Digest Awards and a Daytime Emmy Award. The latter part of the 1990s saw her rise to prominence with her performances in crime dramas Donnie Brasco and Volcano, the film about horror I Know What You Did Yesterday Summer and the political comedy Wag the Dog. Anne Lockhart, born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 1953, is an American actress. She's best-known as Lieutenant Sheba in the Battlestar Galactica TV series from 1978-1979. Lockhart is the grandchild and daughter of actors Gene Lockhart, as well as actress June Lockhart. Lockhart was a young actress when she began her acting career. At the age of four, her first film role came as a character in T is for Tumbleweed. Oscar nominations were made for the film's short documentary. The actress accompanied her mother on the film set, where she learned about the inner workings of the industry. Lockhart is even featured on numerous Lassie episodes. Dora in Jory in 72 was her first film. She played Joan Crawford's daughter as a character in The Sixth Sense, a television series from 1972. Joan Crawford's last role as an actor. Anne had reportedly turned down Laurie Strode (John Carpenter's 1978 Halloween-themed thriller) as well as Jaime Lee Curtis took the part. Carpenter stated that Anne was his first selection for the role however, she declined. Anne doesn't recall ever contact by John Carpenter nor being offered the role. Her agent might have turned down the opportunity in her name and with no knowledge. Her initial choice was made by Glen Larson who sent her an initial script for an appearance in the 1978 series on television Battlestar Galactica. She initially rejected the part as she believed that the character wasn't strong enough. Glen was able to write a stronger part with Sheba. She accepted the Living Legend script after reading the first 25 pages. The show ran for only one episode. She appeared in Joyride the 1977 film with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine (son Desi Arnaz Jr. Lucille and Lucille) as well as together with Robert Carradine. In 1987 she appeared in a co-production with Michael Moriarty and The Dark Tower.
