Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the age of 14. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her amateur debut at age 18 at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd became more confident after her win, and she won three fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all in the 1st round. In WCFC Ladd fought, she defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and swept her away in unanimity to create an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in the year 2015, when she signed to Invicta FC. InvictaFC 11 was her first professional bout. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She took the following match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen used her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill and then ended the fight with a third round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen was then able to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however, Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final bout with the club. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina by pounding and grounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO in second round. Her dominance continued and she got a bigger win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd beat Evinger with a punch during the opening round, and earned a Bonus Performance of the Night. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent for a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her debut major fight. The two fights were a close fight that Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd after 16 seconds which ended her streak to win. in the 3rd round on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In her most recent fight with the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. The fight was unanimously decided against her.
